You may remember that last week we got a call from someone in the community that a kitten was injured and needed urgent medical care. A few of our volunteers immediately went out and brought the kitten to the Emergency vet. We named the kitten, King. Sadly, King had severe injuries and had to be humanly euthanized.
King was held during the final hours of his life and finally got to experience love.
May you rest in peace, King. Your short life was precious. We love you!
When we found King we couldn't help but notice the dozens of cats and kittens around the property. We knew we had to go back and help save as many cats and kittens as we could and have the other cats spayed and neutered. We asked the community to help and you really pulled through! We were able to raise enough funds to cover multiple surgeries! Thank you!
In the last two days we were able to rescue 2, 9 week old kittens who have been placed in a loving foster home. In honor of King we named them Duchess and Prince.
We also trapped 6 adult cats who have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and returned to their original home. There are so many more out there and we will keep you updated throughout the process. Thank you so much for your support!
