Temporary Pet Foster Programs for nonmilitary families

Every year thousands of companion animals are surrendered into animal shelters due to temporary crises. Try all of your resources before deciding on surrendering your pet.

PACT for Animals:

is a champion of the Human-Animal Bond. PACT gives peace of mind to hospital patients and military personnel by placing their pets in temporary foster homes until their owners can be reunited with the companion animals they love.

By providing access to safe foster homes for animals until their human companions can take them back, PACT reduces the number of animals in animal shelters and gives the owners peace of mind that their best friends will not be lost, abused, or euthanized.

Notes:
  • PACT cannot accept any Foster Animals with a history of destruction or aggression towards humans in the program.
  • PACT is in the process of expanding our programs nationwide. However, currently the majority of our Foster Homes are in the Delaware Valley region (eastern PA, southern NJ, DE). Our Delaware Valley Foster Homes can assist any Foster Animal, from anywhere in the country as long as that animal can be transported here (flying, driving, etc).

Hospital patients: Click HERE to submit a companion animal in need of fostering. For the most updated version of our Foster Agreement, please email info@pactforanimals.org with your request.

Service Members: Click HERE to submit a companion animal in need of fostering. For the most updated version of our Foster Agreement, please email info@pactforanimals.org with your request.
